泽地萃Cuì · Gathering

兑上 · 坤下Lake over Earth

卦辞The Judgement

萃：亨，王假有庙；利见大人，亨利贞；用大牲吉，利有攸往。Cuì. Prosperous and smooth. The king arrives at the ancestral temple. Favorable to see a great person. Prosperous and smooth, favorable to be steadfast and upright. Using a great sacrifice: good fortune. Favorable to have somewhere to go.

聚集人才、聚集资源、聚集力量的好时机。坤土在下属土居西南，兑泽在上属金居西方——泽水在大地之上汇成湖泊，四方水流都聚到这里。土生金，大地承载着泽水，泽水滋养着大地——这是互相成就的聚集。建立组织、举办活动、扩大团队——都是当下该做的。但聚集要有正当目的——为了正事聚才能持久。

A good time to gather talent, gather resources, gather strength. The lower trigram Kūn is Earth, element Earth, in the southwest; the upper trigram Duì is Lake, element Metal, in the west — lake-water pooling on the great land into a lake, currents from all directions gathering here. Earth generates Metal: the land bears the lake, the lake nourishes the land — a gathering that completes each other. Building an organization, holding an event, growing a team — all are right moves now. But the gathering must have a legitimate purpose; only what is gathered for a worthy cause endures.

大象The Image

《象》曰：泽上于地，萃；君子以除戎器，戒不虞。The lake rises over the earth: the image of Gathering. The noble one, accordingly, keeps his weapons in order and guards against the unforeseen.

六爻The Six Lines

初六Initial Six

初六，有孚不终，乃乱乃萃；若号，一握为笑：勿恤，往无咎。Sincere, but not to the end. Confusion, then gathering. If one cries out, with a single clasp of hands it turns to laughter. Do not worry. Going forward: no fault.

信心不够、心思乱、容易动摇——坤土初爻，土刚接水——但呼救一下，就会有人来帮你笑出来，但只要呼救一下，就会有人来帮你笑出来。困惑时主动求助，没问题。

Confidence wavers, the mind is muddled, you're easily shaken — Kūn's Earth, first line, the earth just receiving the water — but call out and someone comes to laugh you out of it — but just call out for help and someone comes to turn the tears into laughter. When confused, reach out; no harm in that.

六二Second Six

六二，引吉，无咎；孚乃利用禴。Drawn together: good fortune. No fault. With sincerity, even a small offering is favorable.

被引荐着获得吉运——坤土居中，大地最正——心怀诚意做事，即使简朴也是吉的，借力比独行更聪明，心怀诚意做事，即使简朴也是吉的。借力比独行更聪明。

Brought into the fold through an introduction — Kūn's Earth centered, the land at its most upright — act with sincerity and even a plain offering is auspicious; drawing on others beats going it alone — good fortune. 六三Third Six

六三，萃如嗟如，无攸利；往无咎，小吝。Gathering, then sighing. Nothing is favorable. Going forward: no fault. Slight humiliation.

想聚却聚不起来、又叹气又叹气——坤土到三爻，地气散了——但只要能往前走，有点小遗憾也没事，但只要能往前走、有点小遗憾也没事。坚持就好。

Wanting to gather but unable to, sighing again and again — Kūn's Earth at the third line, the earth-energy scattering — yet as long as you can move forward, a little regret is fine — yet as long as you can keep moving forward, even a little regret is fine. Just keep at it.

九四Fourth Nine

九四，大吉，无咎。Great good fortune. No fault.

大吉，没有过失——兑泽初爻，水刚汇成湖——大吉，但位置不当，可能正在做不属于自己位置上的事，但要注意位置不当——可能正在做不属于自己的位置上的事。

Great good fortune, no fault — Duì's Lake, first line, the water just pooling into a lake — great fortune, but the position is off, perhaps doing work that isn't yours to do — but note the position is off; you may be operating in a place that isn't really yours.

九五Fifth Nine

九五，萃有位，无咎，匪孚；元永贞，悔亡。Gathering, holding the position. No fault. Not yet fully trusted. Sublime, lasting, steadfast and upright. Regret vanishes.

在聚集中有自己的位置——兑泽居中，湖水最深处——但不被信任，需要长期保持正道，悔意会消失，但不被信任。需要长期保持正道，悔意会消失。

You hold a place in the gathering — Duì's Lake centered, the deepest part of the lake — but not yet trusted; hold the right path long-term and the regret dissolves — but you're not yet trusted. You need to hold to the right path over the long run, and the regret dissolves.

上六Top Six

上六，赍咨涕洟，无咎。Lamenting and sighing, with bitter tears. No fault.

悲伤、流泪——兑泽到极处，水满则溢——但能因此唤起大家的共情，没事，但能因此唤起大家的共情，没事。情绪释放有时候是必要的。

Grieving, in tears — Duì's Lake at its extreme, the water brimming over — but it stirs the sympathy of others, and so no harm — but it can stir the sympathy of others, and so no harm. Sometimes the release of feeling is necessary.
