巽上 · 震下Wind over Thunder
卦辞The Judgement
益：利有攸往，利涉大川。Yì. Favorable to have somewhere to go. Favorable to cross great rivers.
做加法的时候到了——增益自己、增益别人、扩大事业。震雷在下属木居东方，巽风在上属木居东南——风雷同属木，雷在下面响，风在上面吹，互相借力。木木比和，风助雷势，雷震风威——这是互相成就的组合。从上到下的支持都有，敢于行动、敢于扩张就对了。但要记得——增益是双向的，自己得益的同时也要让别人受益。
The time to add has come — to enrich yourself, to enrich others, to expand the enterprise. The lower trigram Zhèn is Thunder, element Wood, in the east; the upper trigram Xùn is Wind, element Wood, in the southeast — wind and thunder both Wood: thunder sounding below, wind blowing above, each lending the other force. Wood harmonizing with Wood, wind feeding the thunder's roll, thunder lending the wind its power — a combination that completes each other. Support flows from above to below; daring to act and to expand is the right move. But remember: increase runs both ways — as you gain, you must let others gain too.
大象The Image
《象》曰：风雷，益；君子以见善则迁，有过则改。Wind and thunder together: the image of Increase. The noble one, accordingly, moves toward good when he sees it, and corrects his faults when he has them.
六爻The Six Lines
初九，利用为大作，元吉，无咎。Favorable to undertake great works. Sublime good fortune, no fault.
可以做大事——震雷初爻，雷刚响——第一声雷就震天响，时机到了，这是好时机。即使是普通人也能借此机会做出大成就，吉无悔。
You can take on great things — Zhèn's Thunder, first line, the thunder just sounding — the very first clap rolls across the sky, the moment has come — this is the moment. Even an ordinary person can use this opening to achieve something great. Sublime good fortune, no regret.
六二，或益之十朋之龟，弗克违，永贞吉；王用享于帝，吉。Perhaps increased by a tortoise worth ten pairs of shells, which cannot be refused. Lasting steadfastness: good fortune. The king makes offering to the Lord of Heaven. Good fortune.
意外的厚重收益（十朋之龟）——震木居中，木气最旺——十朋之龟从天而降，长期守正才有这种好运，长期坚持正道才会有这种好运。守正才有大福。
An unexpected, weighty gain (the tortoise worth ten pairs of shells) — Zhèn's Wood centered, the wood-energy at its strongest — the tortoise drops from heaven, and only long fidelity earns such luck — but only lasting fidelity to the right path brings this kind of luck. Hold to what is right, and great blessing follows.
六三，益之用凶事，无咎；有孚中行，告公用圭。Increased through use in troubled affairs. No fault. Hold sincerity, walk the central path, report to the lord with the jade tablet.
在凶事中获得增益——震木到三爻，木遇风雨——在危机中找到机会，需要诚信和果断，比如在危机中找到机会。这需要诚信和果断，能化危为机的人才行。
Gaining through hardship — Zhèn's Wood at the third line, the wood meeting wind and rain — finding the chance within the crisis, which takes sincerity and decisiveness — finding opportunity in a crisis. This takes sincerity and decisiveness; only one who can turn danger into opportunity can pull it off.
六四，中行告公从，利用为依迁国。Walking the central path, reporting to the lord; the lord follows. Favorable to use this as the basis to move the capital.
用中正的态度做事——巽风初爻，风刚吹——向上级如实汇报，意见被采纳，甚至能用来谋大事，能向上级如实汇报，会被采纳意见，甚至能用来谋大事（迁国）。
Act with balance and integrity — Xùn's Wind, first line, the wind just blowing — report honestly upward, the counsel taken up, fit even for great undertakings — give your superiors an honest account, and your counsel will be adopted, and can even serve great undertakings (relocating the capital).
九五，有孚惠心，勿问元吉：有孚惠我德。With sincerity, a heart set on benefiting others. Do not even ask: sublime good fortune. With sincerity, others benefit my virtue.
用真诚的心去施惠他人——巽风居中，风最柔最广——不需问结果，自然会大吉，别人也会以诚回报，不需要询问，自然会有大吉。别人也会以诚回报你。
Acting with a sincere heart to benefit others — Xùn's Wind centered, the wind at its softest and widest — no need to ask the outcome, sublime fortune comes of itself, and others repay in kind — no need to ask, sublime good fortune comes of itself. And others will repay you in kind.
上九，莫益之，或击之；立心勿恒，凶。None increase him; some strike at him. He does not keep his heart steady. Misfortune.
没有人增益你，反而有人攻击你——巽风到极处，风向乱变——心思不专一，风乱吹，反而被人攻击，心思不专一就会导致这种结果。要先内省自己。
No one increases you — instead, people strike at you. Xùn's Wind at its extreme, the direction shifting wildly — a heart that won't stay single, the wind blowing every which way, and so the blows come. A heart that won't stay single brings this on. Look inward at yourself first.
