卦辞The Judgement

乾：元，亨，利，贞。Qián. Sublime and initiative. Prosperous and smooth. Favorable and beneficial. Steadfast and upright.

现在是充满创造力和上升机会的时期。乾居西北，五行属金，纯阳之体——这是刚健到极致的力量。环境对你有利，目标清晰，行动力也在线。但越是势头猛，越要守住正道——金过硬则易折，靠投机或越界换来的成功不会持久。坚持原则地往前冲，能成大事。

This is a time of pure creative momentum and rising opportunity. Qián sits in the northwest, its element Metal, pure unbroken yang — strength carried to its utmost. Conditions favor you, your direction is clear, and you have the energy to act. But the stronger the momentum, the more important it is to stay on the right path — metal that is too hard snaps, success won through shortcuts or compromise won't last. Drive forward with integrity, and you can accomplish something great.

大象The Image

《象》曰：天行健；君子以自强不息。Heaven moves with tireless strength. The noble one, accordingly, never ceases to strengthen the self.

六爻The Six Lines

初九Initial Nine

初九，潜龙勿用。Hidden dragon. Do not act.

现在不是出手的时候。不是因为你不行，而是时机、资历、影响力都还没到位。乾金深埋地下，阳炁虽纯却被位置压着——初爻在最底下，离天最远。继续学习、攒经验、建立基础，别急着证明自己。日后越是要飞得高，现在越要沉得住。

This isn't the time to make your move. Not because you're not capable, but because the timing, your standing, and your reach aren't there yet. Qián's Metal lies buried deep underground — the yang is pure but pinned by its place: the first line sits at the very bottom, farthest from Heaven. Keep learning, build experience, lay the groundwork — don't rush to prove yourself. The higher you'll eventually fly, the deeper you need to stay rooted now.

九二Second Nine

九二，见龙在田，利见大人。Dragon appearing in the field. Favorable to see a great person.

你的能力开始被人看见，机会的窗口正在打开。乾金已出地面，阳炁开始发散——二爻居中，是金子第一次被光打到。这时该做的是主动接触关键人物——能指导你的前辈、能合作的伙伴、能给你舞台的人。被看见之后，记得把握住。

Your abilities are starting to be noticed, and a window of opportunity is opening. Qián's Metal has surfaced above ground, the yang beginning to radiate — the second line is centered, the first time the metal catches the light. Now is the time to actively reach out to the people who matter — mentors who can guide you, partners who can collaborate with you, those who can give you a platform. Once you're seen, make it count.

九三Third Nine

九三，君子终日乾乾，夕惕若，厉无咎。The superior person, all day long, vigorously initiating, initiating; at evening, still keeping alert. Adversity, no fault.

现在最累，事情最多、压力最大、还没到能松口气的位置。乾金遇乾金，刚对刚——三爻是阳位阳爻，过刚而临险。别怪环境，这是上升过程中必经的关口。保持白天全力冲刺、晚上复盘反省的节奏，每天战战兢兢地推进，反而最安全。

Right now is the hardest part — most work, most pressure, and you're not yet at a place where you can let up. Metal meets Metal, hard against hard — the third line is a yang line in a yang place, over-rigid and facing danger. Don't blame the circumstances; this is the necessary gate of any rise. Keep the rhythm: full effort by day, honest reflection by night. The very anxiousness with which you push forward is what keeps you safe.

九四Fourth Nine

九四，或跃在渊，无咎。Perhaps leaping from the depths. No fault.

面前是一个重大选择：进还是缓？九四已近九五尊位，但下临深渊——渊为坎水之象，金生水，进可润泽天下，退可被水淹没。两条路都不算错，关键看你对时机和实力的判断。不要被外部压力推着做决定——审时度势，自己定夺，进退都不会有问题。

You face a major choice: advance, or hold back? The fourth line nears the honored fifth, yet looks down into the abyss — the deep is Water, and Metal generates Water: advance and you may nourish all under heaven, retreat and the water may drown you. Neither path is wrong — what matters is your read on timing and capacity. Don't let outside pressure push you into a decision. Weigh the moment, choose deliberately, and you'll come through cleanly either way.

九五Fifth Nine

九五，飞龙在天，利见大人。Dragon flying in the sky. Favorable to see a great person.

事业进入巅峰阶段，资源、地位、影响力都到位了。乾金飞腾于天，九五中正——这是卦主之位，也是西北天门大开的时候。这是大显身手的最好时机，也是该寻找同等级合作者共谋大事的时候。眼界放开，格局做大。

Your work has reached its peak: the resources, the standing, and the reach are all in place. Qián's Metal soars in the heavens, the fifth line centered and upright — this is the ruling line of the hexagram, the moment the northwest gate of Heaven swings open. This is the best moment to act on a grand scale, and the right time to seek out peers of equal stature for major undertakings. Widen your vision, raise your sights.

上九Top Nine

上九，亢龙有悔。Arrogant dragon. There will be regret.

已经站到顶上了，再往前一步就是悬崖。乾金到极处，阳亢阴绝——五行无水滋润、无土承载，孤金必折。物极必反——不要再追求更多权力、更多关注、更大场面。学会激流勇退、传位让贤，才是真正的智慧。死撑下去会让自己后悔。

You've reached the top — one more step is the edge. Qián's Metal at its extreme, yang overreaching with yin cut off — no Water to moisten it, no Earth to hold it: lone metal is bound to break. What rises to an extreme must turn back: don't keep chasing more power, more attention, more spectacle. Knowing when to step back gracefully, when to pass the torch — this is true wisdom. Holding on past this point only leaves regret.
