卦辞The Judgement
丰：亨，王假之；勿忧，宜日中。Fēng. Prosperous and smooth. The king reaches this point. Do not worry. Be like the sun at noon.
正处在最丰盛、最巅峰的状态——光明充足、机会涌现。离火在下属火居南方，震雷在上属木居东方——雷火交加，声光并至。木生火，雷助火势，火烧得更旺——这是最鼎盛的时刻。这是大干一场的好时候。但盛极必衰——要珍惜眼下的鼎盛，做好往下走的准备。
You stand in the most abundant, the most brilliant state — the light at the full, opportunities pouring in. The lower trigram Lí is Fire, element Fire, in the south; the upper trigram Zhèn is Thunder, element Wood, in the east — thunder and fire together, sound and light at once. Wood generates Fire, the thunder feeding the blaze, the fire burning brighter — the most flourishing of moments. This is the time to throw yourself into great work. But abundance must wane; cherish the moment, and ready yourself for the slope downward.
大象The Image
《象》曰：雷电皆至，丰；君子以折狱致刑。Thunder and lightning both arrive: the image of Abundance. The noble one, accordingly, settles legal cases and carries out punishment.
六爻The Six Lines
初九，遇其配主，虽旬无咎，往有尚。Meets the matching companion. Though equal, no fault. Going forward, there is honor.
遇到对的合作伙伴（配主）——离火初爻，火刚亮——即使时间不长也没问题，继续往前推进，即使时间不长（一旬）也没问题。继续往前推进，会有更大的成就。
Meeting the right partner — Lí's Fire, first line, the flame just bright — brief as it is, no problem; press on for greater achievement — though the partnership is brief (one ten-day cycle), there is no problem. Going on is rewarded.
六二，丰其蔀，日中见斗，往得疑疾；有孚发若，吉。Abundant the screen. At noonday the Dipper is seen. Going forward brings the sickness of suspicion. With sincerity to inspire — good fortune.
丰盛中有遮蔽——离火居中但被遮——大白天却看到北斗，贸然行动会引来怀疑，大白天却看到北斗（不太正常）。这时贸然行动会引来怀疑——要用真诚去化解。
Even within abundance, something blocks the light — Lí's Fire centered but veiled — the Dipper visible at noon; charging ahead invites suspicion — at midday you can see the Dipper (an anomaly). At a time like this, charging ahead invites suspicion — only sincerity dissolves it.
九三，丰其沛，日中见沬；折其右肱，无咎。Abundant the banner. At noonday the small stars are seen. Breaks the right arm. No fault.
丰盛但暗淡——离火到三爻，光被遮得更厉害——大白天看到星辰，重要的支撑折了，大白天看到星辰（光明被遮）。重要的支撑（右臂）折了——但这种损失算不上大问题。
Abundance with shadow — Lí's Fire at the third line, the light veiled deeper — stars seen at noon, a vital support broken — the day at noon and a faint star visible (light covered). A vital support (the right arm) breaks — but this loss is not yet major.
九四，丰其蔀，日中见斗；遇其夷主，吉。Abundant the screen. At noonday the Dipper is seen. Meets a companion of equal nature. Good fortune.
丰盛中有遮蔽——震雷初爻，雷刚响但光被遮——但遇到了平等的伙伴，吉，但遇到了平等的伙伴，吉。在丰盛的暗面找到对的人，是难得的机缘。
Abundance with shadow — Zhèn's Thunder, first line, the thunder just sounded but the light still veiled — yet an equal companion met: good fortune — yet you meet an equal companion: good fortune. In the dim side of abundance, finding the right person is rare.
六五，来章，有庆誉，吉。Brilliant ones come. There is congratulation and praise. Good fortune.
招来好的征兆——震雷居中，雷声最正——有福庆、有名声，最好的状态，有福庆、有名声。最好的状态。
Drawing in the bright signs — Zhèn's Thunder centered, the thunder at its most upright — blessing and renown together, the finest of states — blessing and renown together. The finest of states.
上六，丰其屋，蔀其家，窥其户，阒其无人，三岁不觌，凶。Abundant the house. The household screened off. Peering through the door — silence, no people. For three years, not seen. Misfortune.
屋子华丽却遮蔽住自己（人都看不见了）——震雷到极处，雷声远了——三年都不见人，极盛后的孤立，三年都不见人。极盛后的孤立——是物极必反。
A house of luxury hiding the dweller — Zhèn's Thunder at its extreme, the thunder distant — three years and no one to be seen, the isolation after the peak — even people cannot see him; three years pass without contact. The isolation after the peak is the truth of waxing turning to waning.
