卦辞The Judgement
睽：小事吉。Kuí. In small matters, good fortune.
存在分歧、对立、彼此误会的局面。离火在上属火居南方——火往上烧，泽往下渗，方向相反。火克金，火在上面烤，水在下面沉，谁也不服谁。但分歧不一定是坏事——求同存异是关键。接受差异、寻找共识、专注小事——大事难成但小事可成。
A situation of disagreement, opposition, mutual misunderstanding. the upper trigram Lí is Fire, element Fire, in the south — fire burns upward, the lake seeps downward, opposite directions. Fire checks Metal: fire baking from above, water sinking below, neither yielding to the other. But divergence isn't necessarily bad — seeking common ground while respecting difference is the key. Accept the differences, look for shared ground, focus on the small things — great things are hard to accomplish now, but small ones can succeed.
大象The Image
《象》曰：上火下泽，睽；君子以同而异。Fire above, the lake below: the image of Opposition. The noble one, accordingly, stays at one with others while keeping his own distinctness.
六爻The Six Lines
初九，悔亡；丧马，勿逐自复；见恶人，无咎。Regret vanishes. The horse is lost — do not chase it; it returns of itself. Meet the wicked man. No fault.
失去的东西不必追——，会自己回来。看到讨厌的人也要见——避开冲突反而更危险。化解误会从面对开始。
What you've lost, don't chase — it will come back on its own. Even the person you dislike, you must still meet — avoiding the encounter is more dangerous. Healing a rift begins with facing it.
九二，遇主于巷，无咎。Meeting the lord in a narrow lane. No fault.
在意外的地方遇到了对的人（在小巷子里碰到主角）——，没有过失。机会有时来自不期而遇，不是计划。
Meeting the right person in an unexpected place (running into the key figure in a side lane) — no fault. Opportunity sometimes comes from a chance encounter, not a plan.
六三，见舆曳，其牛掣；其人天且劓。无初有终。Seeing the cart dragged back, the ox held fast, the man's hair shaved and nose cut. No beginning, but an end.
看似处境艰难（车被拖拽、牛被拉扯、自己被刑罚）——，开始很糟但结果会好。坚持就能熬出头。
The situation looks brutal (cart dragged, ox checked, suffering punishment) — a bad start, but a good end. Hold on and you'll come through.
九四，睽孤；遇元夫，交孚，厉无咎。Estranged and alone. Meeting the great fellow; sincerity meeting sincerity. Danger. No fault.
在分歧中孤独，离火初爻——火孤零零地烧，但遇到了志同道合的人，相互信任，但遇到了志同道合的人，相互信任——虽然有风险，但能化解。再难都不怕，找到了同伴就好。
Alone in the divergence, Lí's Fire, first line — the fire burning alone, yet meeting one of like mind, the two coming to trust each other — but you meet someone of like mind, and you come to trust each other — there's risk, but it can be resolved. However hard it is, finding a true ally is enough.
六五，悔亡，厥宗噬肤，往何咎？Regret vanishes. The kinsman responds as if biting through soft flesh. To go forward — what fault?
之前的悔恨消散——离火居中，火光明亮——和重要的人重新建立咬肉一般紧密的联系，和重要的人重新建立联系（咬肉一般的紧密）。前进会带来福气。
The earlier regret dissolves — Lí's Fire centered, the light bright — reconnecting with someone who matters, close as biting into soft flesh — reconnecting closely with someone who matters (close as biting into soft flesh). Going forward brings blessing.
上九，睽孤，见豕负涂，载鬼一车，先张之弧，后说之弧；匪寇，婚媾；往遇雨则吉。Estranged and alone. Seeing a pig caked in mud, a cart full of ghosts; first drawing the bow, then setting it aside — no robber, but a suitor. Going forward, meeting rain: good fortune.
在严重的分歧和误会中——离火到极处，光太亮反而看什么都像鬼——一开始把对方当强盗，最后发现是亲人，一开始把对方当强盗，最后发现是亲人。雨过天晴，所有怀疑都消散。
In severe rift and misunderstanding — Lí's Fire at its extreme, the light so bright everything looks like a ghost — at first you take the other for a robber, in the end you find they are kin — at first you take the other for a robber, in the end you find they are kin. The storm clears, and all the suspicion washes away.
